Cost of Natural and man-made catastrophes in 2011 كلفة الكوراث في عام ٢٠١١

December 21, 2011 — Natural and man-made catastrophes cost the world economy $350 billion (€270bn) and 30,000 lives in the first 11 months of 2011, the highest catastrophe-related economic loss in history, says reinsurer Swiss Re. The figure compares to $226 billion last year. Graphic shows total insured losses of $108 billion.
